Hi, my name is Jimmy and I like to ride my maxi-scooter.  It’s a Yamaha Majesty, aka YP400 (hence the site name).  Riding my Majesty has turned into a major hobby of mine and YPRider.com is dedicated to that fascination.  These days, I’m mostly interested in trying out new riding gear and taking short jaunts around the Seattle area.  I hope you enjoy what gets posted on this site!

Gear Currently Being Used:

1. HJC FS-15 Carbon helmet – Ordered a size L, which is just a tad too large.  The Pinlock anti-fog visor is great though!
2. Icon Alliance SSR helmet – Very quiet and an excellent deal at around $100.
3. Alpinestars Helius jacket – Perhaps a bit over-priced, but versatile and cool-looking.
4. REV’IT! Sand jacket – Useful 3-season jacket with awesome layering system.
5. REV’IT! Sand pants – Matching 3-season pants.
6. SIDI Abiss gloves – Great cold-weather gloves.
7. Alpinestars Ridge boots – Comfortable enough for 3-season riding and walking.
